Who is SHINE?

SHINE is a partnership between Crown Jesus Ministries, Scripture Union NI, Logos Ministries International, Scripture Union England and Wales, Scripture Union Ireland and Scripture Union Scotland - Meet the Team. SHINE has been running in Northern Ireland since 2010, in England and Wales since 2016, in Scotland since 2018 and in Ireland since 2019.

What is SHINE?

SHINE is a 3-week video resource designed to:

Equip Christian young people to live for God at school and provide opportunities for others to explore the Christian faith for themselves.

What if my group are not Christians?

Do not panic, this is exactly the audience SHINE was designed for, giving as many as possible the chance to explore faith for themselves.

How does SHINE work?

Plan for an exciting 3 week series of exploring the Christian faith together.

When should I run SHINE?

Typically, SHINE runs at the same time in the month of November. There is power knowing a school or church down the road and on the other side of the country is doing the same thing you are. This is an opportunity to be part of something bigger right across the UK and Ireland!

Why SHINE?

Our hope is that SHINE will encourage a missional mindset for Christians and act as a catalyst to empower young people to SHINE for God in school.
